Parodi, who in his turn was a pupil of Gianlorenzo Bernini in Rome. Together with
Parodi, Moratti collaborated over the tomb of Orazio Secco (Basilica del Santo, Padua). Successively he worked in Rome for the churches Chiesa del Gesù, S.Maria degli Angeli, S.Agostino and St John Lateran where sculptured a
colossal statue of Apostle Simon. Another famous work of Moratti is the execution of the fountain in Piazza della Bocca della Verità in Rome.
