Life of PIERRE-PHILIPPE MIGNOT

French sculptor, active in Paris. He trained under Lemoyne and Vass. He was accepted (agr) at the Acadmie in 1757 and from then on assiduous for several years as an exhibitor at the Salon. There he showed the Sleeping Bacchante in 1761.
