Dutch painter, active in Amsterdam between 1657-1682. He was known for long as Pieter Janssens. He was specialized in painting interiors similar to those made by Pieter
de Hooch. His interiors are calm, the figures are motionless. He painted also many simple still-lifes in the style of Willem
Kalf.
